Thy Kingdom Come.png

Thy Kingdom Come is a global prayer movement which the Archbishop of Canterbury invited people around the world to join.
The wave of prayer runs for 11 days between the Christian festivals of Ascension and Pentecost. During this time, people are asked to pray in whatever way they want and with whoever they want for others to come to know Jesus Christ.

Our Mission

To enthusiastically worship and serve God so that the needs of the parish and community can find fulfillment in Jesus Christ.

What You Can Expect

St. John the Evangelist Church is a welcoming community. When we gather together there is a real sense of family. Making visitors feel welcome is one of the gifts of our church, and we would be happy to extend our hospitality to you.

We gather for worship twice on Sundays - at 8:30 AM and 10:30 AM

Sunday Service Times

8:30 Service

At 8:30 we share in Holy Communion using the Book of Common Prayer. This service is quiet and reflective; usually lasting about one hour.

10:30 Service

The 10:30 service is informal and yet beautifully incorporates the liturgy. If you are unfamiliar with liturgical worship - don't worry!

All the components of our worship are projected on the overhead screen; no book fumbling required. This service typically lasts between sixty and ninety minutes.

Children are always welcome at any service.
